Katerina Grigoropoulos, DPM, AACFAS is a Chicago native who earned her B.S. degree in Biology and minor in Psychology in 2012 from Loyola University Chicago.

Dr. Grigoropoulos attended The William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, graduating in 2017. She completed three years of surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. After her residency, she completed a Diabetic Limb Salvage Fellowship in 2021 at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

During her second year at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Katerina was the only podiatry student selected for the Rosalind Franklin Fellowship Scholarship. Through this scholarship, she founded “Sole Fit” – an organization that educates elementary school students about podiatric care and provides new shoes to underprivileged children in need.

Sole Fit has helped hundreds of children in the past and is in the process of expanding nationally to all the podiatric medical schools with goals to become the first philanthropic, podiatric organization that unites the profession.
